Adopt A Missionary
On behalf of all of our full-time
missionaries, we would like to thank all of your who support our ministry here
at Crescent Lake Bible Camp! Lives are being changed and that would simply
not be possible if we didn't have people willing to pray for this ministry and
to support it financially! We cannot thank you enough for becoming
partners with us!
If you are new to the Crescent Lake
Bible Camp family, we would like you to know that our staff of
dedicated professionals have been called to use their gifts and talents to serve
God through our ministries and outreaches. These individuals and families help us provide a
safe and friendly Christ-centered environment that uses God's Word to encourage
faith and growth in Jesus Christ. But, unlike other jobs, these staff are
full-time missionaries, charged with
raising their own support.
If you would like to help make an
eternal difference in the lives of campers at Crescent Lake Bible Camp, please
consider making a donation to the Missionary Support Fund; an online donation
option is provided below to allow you to easily give to the ministry of each
Staff member.

Greg, Anne, CJ,
Makayla and Evan Erdmann
Office Manager
Eight years ago, my oldest son CJ was invited to Family Camp #3 by the Higgins
Family. When CJ called home and insisted that Crescent Lake Bible Camp was
the best place ever, we reserved a spot for the following year and that’s when
it all began. We enjoyed camp so much, but felt like we were called to be
more than just campers. We asked how we could help and discovered that
there are so many things needed to keep a camp going, so we started by cleaning
the cabins, helping with Work Weekends and also working in the Kitchen for the
Summer Youth Camps and Winter Camps.
My husband and I
felt a calling on our lives to be missionaries from the beginning of our
"born-again walk" with the Lord. We prayed, asking God to show us where to
start. We began going on short-term, overseas mission trips over ten years ago,
traveling to Australia, the Philippines and Vietnam. We enjoyed serving on
these trips but felt called to do even more.
After ten years of prayer and
patience, God closed the door on my full-time career as a Title Insurance
Agent/Office Manager, when the economy took a downward turn. This past
summer, God opened the door to full-time missions. I was asked to pray
about managing the office at Crescent Lake Bible Camp.
We took it to
the Lord and felt that we had a go ahead and an answer to our prayers.Currently my
daughter Makayla and I are residing here at camp as I begin my ministry and work
to raise my support. My husband, Greg, and our sons, CJ and Evan,
currently reside in Friendship. After Evan graduates from High School and
our home is sold, Greg will join us here at Camp, volunteering where he is
needed most.
Anne Says: "We
look forward to serving God as we are allowed to Minister to all here at camp."

Dale, Desi and
Levi Haskins
Maintenance
Coordinator
I grew up in Ogema, Wisconsin and lived there for 39 years. Desi grew up in
Sana Rosa, California until she moved to Rib Lake. We met at Ogema Church and
got married in August of 1991. I worked for a contractor for 14 years and then
ran my own construction business for six years before God called us to Crescent
Lake Bible Camp. Desi has homeschooled our son, Levi, for four years. (He will
attend school in Rhinelander for his High School years.) I love serving God
through maintaining Camp's property and serving others at CLBC. Desi and Levi
also love to volunteer at camp as much as possible. I am the Maintenance
Coordinator and Desi and I are the Water Ski Instructors during the summer
months. We started our full-time ministry here in February of 2006. I enjoy
the outdoors, camping, waterskiing, hunting, snowmobiling, and doing
wood-working.
Dale Says: "Serving God is an Honor. Seeing someone learn more about God is a
Blessing."

Phil and Sandra
Hiebing
Food Service
Director
I was born in Sheboygan, WI and lived
there for 42 years. I was married to my wife, Sandra, on July 27, 1991. I
spent the next nine years trying to love her. We were both born again August
23, 2000, in Buehlers Pond. I have spent the last nine years loving her as I
should. We have four children: Lee, Theresa, Anna and Eric. We have six
grandchildren. I started serving at CLBC in March of 2008 My hobbies include
reading my Bible, laughing with Sandra, goofing off with children and
grandchildren, cooking, golfing any time and anywhere, and bacon and sausages.
Phil Says: "Serving at CLBC has
really opened my eyes to what I was missing my life years ago: serving others
rather than myself. Come visit the Dining Hall. (I'll be the very tall, very
thin guy.)"

Mike and RaNae
Jewell
Executive
Director
I was born and raised on a farm in
Dodgeville Wisconsin and went onto school at the UW-Platteville where I met
RaNae and married her 34 years ago. We have 3 children (Matt, (married to
Jody), Emily, (married to Charlie Blair) and Abbey, (getting married to Jeremy
Thiel in July) and three grandchildren (Asher, Lydia and Caleb), with the fourth
on the way, due in May. After working in the business world for 30 years, I
came to Crescent Lake as the Executive Director in June of 2004 after serving 15
years on the Board of Directors for the CLBC. I fell in love with seeing people
come to Christ and growing in their faith, there is no better feeling than
knowing God is using you for His purposes. I like to hunt, travel, work with
other charities and spend time with RaNae and family, whenever possible.
Mike Says: “God does amazing things
at CLBC; it is a privilege to be part of the work He does here.”

Jeremy, Angie,
Christine and Grace Payfer
Maintenance
Director
I grew up in River Falls, Wisconsin.
During my high school years I worked at a camp during the summer as the
Maintenance Director. While working at that camp I met my wife, Angie. During
my service at that camp I knew that someday I would want to work in the camping
ministry full-time. Angie shared this dream with me. We were living in Duluth,
Minnesota when our pastor brought us an application to work at Crescent Lake
Bible Camp. We were so excited to have the opportunity to serve at a camp. We
started here in December 2001. We are amazed that we are still being allowed to
serve in this ministry! Thank you Lord Jesus!!! I serve here as the
Maintenance Director and Angie takes care of the Bookkeeping duties as well as
runs the camp candy and bookstore. We have two daughters who also serve here
with us. They help in the kitchen, with housekeeping, and wherever else they
are needed. We are incredibly Blessed to be able to call Crescent Lake Bible
Camp our place of employment and our home. We give Thanks and Praise to our
Lord and Savior for this honor!
Jeremy says, “Thank you Jesus for working so powerfully in the camping ministry
and for letting us be a part of this journey!”

Barry, Maria, Isaac and Lauren Rudesill
Camp Director
I have been working in Christian
camping and/or youth programs now for over 16 years. During that time, I have
had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented staff in some of the
most beautiful places on earth; all while watching children, adults and even
entire families ask Jesus Christ to become their personal Lord and Savior. God
has been very good to me! During my service to Him, I have found Maria - my
wife, my partner and my friend - two wonderful children, Isaac and Lauren, and
friendships with people that will last for an eternity. My hobbies include:
reading, Christian Illusions, storytelling and other random things.
Barry Says: "God is doing exciting
things here at Crescent Lake Bible Camp. It is incredible to watch as His plan
unfolds!"

Kim Williamson
Outreach
Coordinator
The first time I attended Crescent
Lake Bible Camp, I was three months old. CLBC has been an important place in my
life ever since. My grandparents were Camp Managers for ten years, so I had the
privilege of spending lots of time at camp. I was a camper for many years and
also worked in the kitchen as a teenager. Camp was my "home away from home". I
came to camp as a full time missionary in May 2005 as the Office Coordinator.
What a joy it is to be a part of God's ministry here!
I have two adult sons. Chad will be
getting married to Melissa, April 10th in Minnesota where he lives. Matt and
his wife Taryn live in Missouri and became proud parents of a baby boy on
February 10, 2010. Brayden Ryan made me a "grandma" for the first time. I can't
wait for him to come to camp!
2009 was a year in my life that
God showed me His abundant love and protection. I went through ten months
of treatments/surgeries for breast cancer and kidney cancer. Recovery is a lot
slower than I want it to be, but I know it is part of God's plan for my life. I
want to be obedient to the plans He has for me. I can't say "thank you"
enough to all of you who have been praying for me.
Kim says: "God is in control and
His ways and timing are perfect, even in the things we don't understand"
