Crescent Lake Bible Camp was founded over 75 years ago to share the Gospel and help people grow in their faith.  We accomplish our commitment to evangelism through our Day Camp, Youth Camp, Family Camp and Retreat programs.  In fact, all of the programs run by Crescent Lake Bible Camp have, at their core, the desire to see lives transformed by the grace of God.  Recently, we have begun to focus on the second charge laid upon us:  Discipleship.  But this area is difficult for us to accomplish in a one-week, once-a-year experience.  To help fulfill our commitment to discipleship, Crescent Lake Bible Camp has begun partnering with programs that allow us to help people grow in their faith and, ultimately, put it into action.   In 2010, Crescent Lake Bible Camp partnered with the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to provide the Contextualized Leadership Development program!  Our new CLD Center is a school of training established under a cooperative agreement with the Church Planting Group of the North American Mission Board, a local Southern Baptist association and/or state convention, and a Southern Baptist academic institution.  The CLD Program provides Biblical, theological, vocational and educational training for church leaders.  Courses are equivalent to college courses offered at a traditional undergraduate program, like those found at Midwestern Baptist College.

Midwestern Ministry Diplomas offers three College-level diploma programs that provide Biblical, theological, vocational, educational, and Christian leadership training to language/cultural pastors, missionaries, and church leaders by offering the courses in their language and/or contextually in their multiethnic setting. A high school diploma or its equivalent is required for admission to these programs. Those not having a high school diploma may apply for a certificate. (Those in a certificate program participate in the classroom experience of the courses but do not complete the prescribed coursework required of Diploma students.)

Remember, a portion of your tuition is paid directly to the Michael Rhode Memorial Scholarship Fund at Crescent Lake Bible Camp to help provide quality, life-changing Christian experiences to youth and families who otherwise would not be able to afford to attend!
