Day Camps

As parents, we all hear similar comments from our children.  But, when summer rolls around, we usually all hear the same three phrases:

I'm So Bored!
                           There's Nothing To Do!
If Only I Had Someone To Play With!

In 2012, fight "The Phrases"!  Here at Crescent Lake Bible Camp, we never hear campers complaining of something to do!  We have over one hundred Skills Classes to help your camper develop new abilities, explore their personal interests and learn and grow.  These classes include:

If you are tired of sitting around the house this summer, come and join us for a summer to remember!  Crescent Lake Bible Camp offers a wide-range of activities led by caring, professional staff; a place where our campers can explore their world first-hand rather than by looking out the windows!  Don't spend the Summer stuck indoors!  Experience all that camp has to offer!  Crescent Lake Bible Camp is expanding its Day Camp programs and we would like to invite you to come and play!  In 2012, we are adding multiple session of our Day Camp program.  These are:

Trailblazers (Grades K - 3)

Designed for our younger campers going into Grades K - 3, the Trailblazer Program allows your child to experience all that camp has to offer!  Trailblazers go through a "round robin" rotation of age-appropriate activities which allows them to sample everything there is to do at camp!  Of course if the weather cooperates we will spend at least part of our day swimming, tubing and skiing and there is always our exciting Chapel services, but other than that we guarantee that no two days will ever be exactly the same, no matter how many weeks your child chooses to join us!

Pioneers (Grades 3 - 6)

Designed for our campers going into Grades 3 - 6, the Pioneer Program is undergoing some changes this year!  In 2011 we tested some new ideas and they worked so well that we are making them a part of our 2012 camping program!  Pioneers this year will get the opportunity to "sign up" for Skills Classes and will get to spend part of their time each week developing their abilities under the leadership of trained instructors.  Combine this with all of the other camp activities, and our Pioneers will get the best of all worlds!

Explorers (Grades 6 - 8)

New in 2012, Crescent Lake Bible Camp is proud to present its new Explorers Program for campers going into Grades 6 - 8.  Explorers will get to not only explore camp, but the surrounding communities, as well!  Each week will be a different theme with different destinations in mind!  We will spend one week exploring boating and finish the week with a trip down the Wisconsin River; we will spend a week working on Teambuilding and finish the week on a High Ropes Course; we will spend a week learning to bicycle safely and then finish the week with a trip into town for ice cream!  And that's just the beginning!  Come and spend your summer exploring all that the county has to offer!

Counselors In Training - Day Camp (Grades 9 - 12)

Calling all students going into Grades 9 - 12!  Come back to Day Camp and learn leadership skills through our CIT program.  Each FREE three-week session gives you the ability to learn from trained staff as you help our younger campers!  (This can be done as a Day Program for local, area students.)

Learn New Skills!  Explore the Out-Of-Doors!

Crescent Lake Bible Camp offers plenty of room to explore the out-of-doors, including a small wetland area, 40 acres of undisturbed natural habitats and two of the most beautiful lakes in Oneida County!  Also, your camp fee includes a free waterskiing lesson or tubing ride!  Combine that with all of the activities we have to offer and we guarantee your children will experience a summer to remember!

As always, we provide campers with lunch daily in our Dining Hall and a snack in the afternoon.   (Campers have the option of bringing extra money for our Canteen or Bookstore!)  We still have the optional Early Drop-Off and Late Pick-Up programs; we offer transportation for campers from both Rhinelander and Tomahawk; and, if your child has special needs, we would love to sit down and talk with you to see if we can help you out.

It is our goal to offer these programs to all families, regardless of their financial situation.  If the price is still too much, let us help you!  If you sign your child up for multiple weeks of camp, they will receive $5.00 off each additional week of camp after the first week is paid for!  Do you need more help?  Please download our Scholarship Application by clicking on the link below.
