The Trek is an educational program that helps youth and adults, individual or families, to build on the positive areas in their lives and to work on identifying and strengthening sections that need help.  This program (under a different name) has been operating for over 16 years in Michigan, working with groups ranging from At-Risk / Adjudicated Youth to teenagers and college-students. 

In 2011, The Trek has been working to expand and develop a new curriculum to serve a wider audience.  We are seeking to help people from all backgrounds to discover their gifts, rebuild and restore relationships and gain insight into who they are and who they can choose to be.  This program is designed to be interactive, hands-on and life-changing.  We have also partnered with Crescent Lake Bible Camp to allow them to offer our curriculum to their youth and families.

In 2012, The Trek will provide speakers for many of the Crescent Lake Bible Camp Retreat Weekend Chapel sessions, including New Year's Blast, College Retreat Weekend, Sr. High Ice Blast, Jr. High Snow Blast and the Pastor / Youth Pastor Weekend!  We would like to thank Crescent Lake Bible Camp for their generous support and assistance as we bring our updated program online.

In addition, in 2012 The Trek will begin hosting its own Retreats and camps.  These programs will focus on the basics of The Trek, including "Expectations, Perceptions and Reality", "Self-Talk", "Understanding Feelings", "Forgiveness" and "Communication".  Each will consist of presentations, round-table discussions, peer interactions and times of sharing.  Our Youth and Family Camps will also include recreational activities hosted by Crescent Lake Bible Camp.  Please note that these programs will be limited in numbers and filled on a first-come / first-served basis.
