Youth Camps

The Crescent Lake Bible Camp resident summer camp programs offer a wide-range of programs and challenges to choose from.  We have programs for first-time campers to those with experience in the out-of-doors.  We also offer our "Leadership Track" - Leaders-In-Training and Counselors-In-Training - designed to help today's teens to become tomorrows leaders.

For Our Returning Campers...

You will notice a change in our programming style.  Although we will have multiple ages of campers at camp each week, we will be offering different Chapel services, meal times, program areas, cabin space and more.  Campers from different programs will have limited interactions with each other so that each can have the best possible camp experience.

This year, we are pleased to offer:

Program Descriptions

Junior Camp (Grades K - 3)

Junior Camp is a 3-day / 2 night program designed with our younger campers in mind.  Junior Camp allows campers to experience an overnight program without having to jump into a full week of camp!  You get to experience the best that camp has to offer, including exciting Chapel services, boating, crafts, mini golf, swimming and more!  All of this under the supervision of our caring staff!

Parents are welcome to attend camp with their Junior Camper to help them become used to the camp environment.  If you decide to come, you are welcome to either play alongside your camper or enjoy some quiet time on your own.

New Adventurers Camp (Grades 3 - 6)

New Adventurers is Crescent Lake Bible Camp's most popular program today, over 75 years after it started, it is still the highlight for hundreds of kids each year!  This program offers all of the "traditional" camp activities, including:  archery, arts and crafts, basketball, campfires, canoeing, a climbing tower, nature hikes, swimming and waterskiing.

Want even more?  We also offer exciting Chapel services led by gifted staff, crazy camp games, night hikes, team competitions and so much more!  Also, because every camper is different, we let our campers choose three "Skills Classes" that will help them try new things, develop skills and build self-confidence.

Nature Quest (Grades 3 - 6)

This summer, in partnership with the Northern Lakes Impact Center, we will again be offering our Nature Quest program.  Nature Quest is a 4-day/3-night adventure that will teach environmental concepts to students in Grades 3 - 6.  Led by trained and experienced staff, students will participate in three main tracks, including:  Animal Habitats, which explores where animals live; Explorations, which involves the use of cameras, leaf rubbings and more to capture images of the world around us; and Living History, which talks about the people who have come before and how they were dependent on the environment for their survival; and .  (Each student will participate in all three tracks during their time at camp.)  All curriculum is geared to meet Wisconsin Academic Standards.

In addition to the science objectives, campers will have the ability to experience all the fun that Crescent Lake Bible Camp has to offer!  This includes archery, campfire, our new Climbing Tower, crafts, night hikes, swimming, waterskiing and much more!

This year, the Nature Quest Registration Form is part of our 2012 All-Camp Brochure.

Young Crusaders (Grades 6 -9)

Calling all Jr. High students!  Are you looking for a place where you can have fun and fellowship?  Then come and find your place here at Crescent Lake Bible Camp!  With new games to try to our traditional favorites - Hocker, anyone? - we will help you build a schedule with opportunities to learn more about yourself and others.  Like our New Adventurers program, you get to choose two "Skills Classes" and participate in Team Competitions that will help you meet new people, make new friends and experience the best week of your life!

Chapel services are contemporary in style, complete with praise bands and talented speakers.

Specialty Camps (Grades 6 - 12)

Would you like to spend more of your time at camp learning a particular skill?  Specialty Camp was designed with you in mind.  Campers select a "specialty" they want to study and spend three hours each day working with our skilled instructors - that's 15 hours in one week!  While the classes change each year, we have offered classes that include:  Archery, Art, Gymnastics, Horseback Riding, Illusions, Rocketry, Sailing, Swimming, Waterskiing, Wilderness Survival and more.  Learn by doing at Specialty Camp!  Space is extremely limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The specialties for 2012 are:  Archery, Horseback Riding, Illusions and Waterskiing.

The Trek - Jr. High Camp (Grades 9 - 12)

For over 15 years, The Trek has been offering educational programs that help youth and adults, individual or families, to build on the positive areas in their lives and to work on identifying and strengthening sections that need help.  Using a Biblically-based curriculum, teens will have the chance to cover topics such as communication, conflict resolution, relationships (both healthy and unhealthy) and personal responsibility.  Mornings are spent in a classroom setting with small-group breakout sessions and afternoons will give teens a chance to put their new skills into action.

Last year we introduce The Trek - Teen Camp for students in Grades 9 - 12.  This year, we have completed the new curriculum for our Jr. High Students!  Come and find out who you are and who God wants you to be!

The Trek program is only $295.00 for the entire week!  This includes all course materials, meals, lodging and recreation.  During the "down times", students will have the opportunity to go waterskiing, climb our new climbing tower and much more; all included in the price of their program!

Teen Conquerors (Grades 9 - 12)

Are you ready to have a great time of personal and spiritual growth?  Do you want to meet other teens who share your faith?  Our Teen Conquerors program provides you with the opportunity to learn more about God, develop personal skills, find other teens who share your interests and challenge you to consider yourself through God's eyes.  Like our Young Crusaders program, you will get to select one "Skills Class" and join a team for our Team Competition.  In addition, Teens get to select one of our "Equipping Tracks" - a ministry outreach program - that will let you spend time learning how to share your faith with other after Summer Camp ends and using your God-given gifts for His glory!

The Trek - Sr.

The Trek program is only $295.00 for the entire week!  This includes all course materials, meals, lodging and recreation.  During the "down times", students will have the opportunity to go waterskiing, climb our new climbing tower and much more; all included in the price of their program!

Leaders In Training (Grades 9 - 12)

New in 2012!  This summer, find out what it means to be a servant-leader.  As a Leader In Training, we will discover our gifts and how we can use them for God’s glory!  With an emphasis on discipleship and personal growth, we will spend our first week learning about leadership, the weekend in-between whitewater rafting in West Virginia - with some other scenic stops along the way - and the second week practicing our leadership skills by assisting in the Summer Camp program.  Leaders In Training should be serious about their walk, dedicated to serving others and ready to see what God wants them to be!

Counselors In Training (Grades 11 - 12)

Want to use your God-given talents to help others?  Then consider joining the Counselors In Training (CIT) program at Crescent Lake Bible Camp.  Each year we select a small number of High School students to assist us in leading the programs and ministries that we offer.  CITs must apply and interview, just like any other staff member.  If accepted to the CIT program, youth will spend two weeks working intensively under the supervision of one of our leadership staff and will have the opportunity to plan activities, coordinate events and even lead programs for our youth and family campers.  (There is no charge for a CIT to attend the program.  CITs are not paid although they do have the option of raising Missionary Support.)  Please click here to email the Camp Director for the application packet.

Register before March 1st and save $25.00 off the cost of your week of Summer Camp.  (Not available for Junior Camp.)

Sign up for more than one session at a time, and you can receive $20.00 off each additional week of camp!
