Capital Campaign
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
A campaign focused on expanding the ministry at Crescent Lake Bible Camp by:
- Building the McMahon Campground
- Installing a Water Quality Improvement System
- Raising Capital for Operations
It's all about the mission.
Crescent Lake Bible Camp uses the Bible, the
Word of God, to introduce campers to Christ and
to grow in their faith. It is our mission to help local
churches fulfill the command of Matthew 28:19-20
in their communities.
When God's Word is taught, lives change.
Crescent Lake Bible Camp has witnessed many
salvation decisions, seen lives that have been
turned around and shared in commitments to
fulltime ministry, all because God's Word was
taught here.
The needs placed before you today will expand our
outreach with a campground, improve our service
to the campers with drinkable water and insure that
the ministry continues with needed operating funds
over the next two years.
We ask for your prayers as you consider your
commitment to this campaign.
God Bless You,
The Staff at CLBC
A Faithful Past.
Seventy-four years ago Rev. Arthur Perkins knelt
with his friend, Pastor Ernest Tremblay, to pray
that God would allow a tract of land to be used as
a youth camp. Following their time of prayer, they
each took five dollars from their pockets for a
down payment toward land, which is now Crescent
Lake Bible Camp. After all these years, CLBC
still carries out the answer to their prayers.
Familiar names like Hull, Hickox, Williamson,
Pederson, Huseby, McMahon, and Dempsey, to
mention only a few, all worked to lead this camp
to where it is today. We have much to be thankful
for because of the dedication of these men, and
others like them.
A Vibrant Present.
Crescent Lake Bible Camp is blessed with gifted staff members who love this camp and are willing to work and sacrifice to see the Word taught. Our mission is realized in lives of campers because of what God does here.
Youth camp numbers continue to increase, new churches are attending, and retreat numbers are also improving. One speaker said that Crescent Lake Bible Camp is Wisconsin's best kept secret. We have to agree with him.
New family camps have been added allowing more opportunities for families to join us at CLBC, and the grounds
have never looked better.
We are very encouraged to see what God is doing, so that more people can hear His Word.
