There are lots of ways to give toward the ministry at Crescent Lake Bible Camp. Check out some of the options below, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

MICHAEL RHODE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND (EST. MAY 2006)

Michael Rhode was a friend and employee of Crescent Lake Bible Camp. He had a true servant’s heart and, above all else, desired to see children come to the Lord. His ambition was to serve God while working at CLBC full time. On March 2, 2006, Mike passed away at the age of 21. Because of Mike’s love for children, it was his family’s desire to see a scholarship fund established in Mike’s name. The Michael Rhode Memorial Scholarship is now used to send children to Camp who otherwise couldn’t afford it. This gives those kids an opportunity to hear the Gospel.

If you would like to contribute to the Michael Rhode Memorial Scholarship Fund and make it possible for children to attend CLBC, please click on the “Donate” button to make a donation online.

AMAZON SMILE

Looking for an easy way to be part of the ministry at CLBC? If you shop on Amazon, you are half-way there! AmazonSmile allows you to select a charity, such as “Crescent Lake Bible Fellowship Camp” and every time you purchase, Amazon will donate a portion of that sale to us. It is a great way to do something for God’s Kingdom while buying simple things like books, music and even toilet paper! Just look for the “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” label.

CAPITAL PROJECTS

Crescent Lake Bible Camp is in the middle of a period of unprecedented growth. God has been doing some amazing things and we would love to have your help as we begin to minister to new groups, including at-Risk / adjudicated youth, active older adult, area schools, and special needs populations, just to name a few. Our current needs for capital projects include:

ADAPTIVE PROGRAM EQUIPMENT
($13,000.00)

Some time ago, we had a boy come to camp who was visually-impaired. He wanted to participate in the programs, just like all of the other campers his age and so, with a lot of creativity on the part of our Maintenance Staff, we created audible targets for Riflery and Archery; adapted our Primitive Hunting curriculum and more! But our goal is not to have to create “temporary” solutions; instead we would like to purchase the materials that would allow anyone to participate in any of our programs. To do this, we have come up with a list of Adaptive Program Equipment that we want to be able to use with our camping seasons. Can you help us as we change our programs to allow everyone to participate at the same level?

ADAPTIVE WATERSKIING PROGRAM
($58,000.00)

At Crescent Lake Bible Camp, we don’t want anyone to be unable to participate in our programs! After long discussions with Dale and Desi Haskins, our Waterskiing Ministry Coordinators, we have decided that we would like to purchase a ski boat and specifically equip it so that it can serve youth and adults who, because of limited ability, may not be able to participate. The gear we would purchase would allow “partner” skiing to assist the visually-impaired and even adaptive gear that allows campers in wheelchairs to participate! Can you help us as we strive to make Crescent Lake programs accessible to everyone who wants to attend?

CABIN UPGRADES
($70,000.00)

Crescent Lake Bible camp has been blessed through donations and volunteer hours that help keep our cabins and facilities in great condition! As we are almost 100 years old, there is always that next project on our list. If you would like to give toward facility improvements, please give us a call!

WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE PONTOON BOAT
($32,000.00)

As stated above, we are trying to make Crescent Lake Bible Camp programs available to anyone who wants to attend, regardless of ability! We have already missed out on opportunities because our regular pontoon boat cannot accommodate children in wheelchairs. We don’t want to turn anyone away or have to tell them that they cannot participate! Can you help us by contributing to the purchase of a wheelchair-accessible pontoon boat that will open up the beauty of Crescent Lake to all of our campers?

If you can help with any of these projects, please contact us at (715) 203 – 0500 or send us a message.

WISH LIST

ANTIQUE TOOLS (PRICE VARIES)

We have continued to expand our outreach through the Northern Lakes Impact Center. Because of their work, we have had literally thousands of youth, adults, and families visit Crescent Lake Bible Camp – people who may never have come otherwise. To help them with their project, we are seeking any antique hand tools for their “living history” programs. Any donation – in any condition – would be greatly appreciated!

BRAILLE COMPASSES ($69.50 EACH)

Each year, Crescent Lake Bible Camp and the Northern Lakes Impact Center work with youth and adults with different abilities. It is our goal for everyone to be able to participate fully in all activities. Because of this, we need to purchase some special equipment. One of the items that we would love to have available would be two braille compasses for our Compass Course. These are available from www.moontrail.com.

If you can help with any of these projects, please contact us at (715) 203 – 0500 or send us a message.
